We use your information solely to provide our service:

• To prepare your appeal letter: Your citation info, statement, and address are used to generate and format your letter
• To print and mail your letter: We use Lob, a printing and mailing service, to physically send your letter
• To process payment: Stripe securely handles your payment
• To improve our service: Anonymous analytics help us understand how people use the site
• To respond to inquiries: If you contact us, we use your information to respond

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only with the following third parties, solely as necessary to provide our service:

• Lob (Mailing Service): Receives your letter content and addresses to print and mail your appeal
• Stripe (Payment Processing): Processes your payment securely
• DeepSeek (AI Formatting): Your statement text is sent for AI-assisted formatting — they do not store your data

We do NOT sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary:

• Appeal Data: Retained for 90 days after mailing in case you need support, then automatically deleted
• Payment Records: Retained as required by law for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years)
• Server Logs: Retained for 30 days for security purposes

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption)
• Payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant Stripe
• Server access is restricted and monitored
